On June 23, 2024, Her Excellency Dr. Betty Oyella Bigombe, the Ambassador of Uganda to Thailand, formally presented her Letters of Credentials to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua at the Grand Palace in Bangkok. 
This significant ceremonial event marked the official recognition of Dr. Bigombe's diplomatic role, enabling her to undertake her duties to enhance and strengthen the bilateral relations between Uganda and Thailand. 
The presentation took place in the magnificent Grand Palace, reflecting the importance and formality of this diplomatic engagement.
